How are bars legal, most people drink at bars, and how do they get home legally? Most don't have a DD...?

how is it legal for bars to exist, I understand if you have a designated driver, but that's rarely the case. Almost everyone that goes to a bar is looking to get trashed(or maybe it is only that way here where I live,mostly a bunch of low life alcoholics and druggies) so why do cops not watch to see if people that are drinking are driving. Why do they not make the person who says they are driving take a breath elizer(can't spell it, sorry) before they leave. It's not worth someones life just to have a few drinks and go home, if you want to play pool, get a pool table, or if you want to hang out with friends and drink, why not camp out together so you can all drink and not have to worry about going home or driving....I don't know, it just frustrates me how bars are perfectly legal, our state is zero tolerance, so one drink is considered illegal, like the ad says, buzzed driving is drunk driving.How are bars legal, most people drink at bars, and how do they get home legally? A BARS BUSINESS IS TO PLEASE CUSTOMERS, IT IS NOT THE BARS RESPONSIBLILITY TO MAKE SURE THOSE DRUNK IDIOTS DONT DRIVE. THERE IS ALWAYS A CAB COMPANY TO CALL. JUST LIKE A PHONE COMPANY DOESNT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DRIVERS TALKING AND DRIVING, OR A FAST FOOD CHAIN WILL NOT KEEP PEOPLE FROM EATING ON THE ROAD, WHICH IS JUST AS DANGEROUS. you must not go to bars else you would have a different opinion,





i got a joke to go with it. an officer is watching the local bar when a drunk comes out. is is so wasted he walkes up to a couple of cars and tries his keys out, none of them are his, he drops his keys a few time. the cop watches as other couples leave the bar to head home. meanwhile the drunk is still tripping over his feet and missing his car. as soon as he gets in the seat and starts the car, the cop turns on his lights. he gives the drunk a breatalizer test. the test turns up a 0.0 . the cop says "your not drunk" to which the man replies, "no, im the designated decoy"

Not all people drink to get drunk. You can go to a bar and stay for hours and stay within the legal limits of driving. This is what they call drinking responsibly. If you get carried away, there are Taxi's, buses, friends, family, or walking.
Logical, very logical, and normally what this almost-pollyanna has usually done.

But see, we all need a change of scenery.

We all have friends who just won't leave.

We all have friends who live at home with parents, and it's not fair when they can't open up their home for us, too.

And, hey, this is life.

These people have to learn the hard way, because if we all go getting paranoid, no one will ever leave home, and then we can't even get to our friends' houses anyway!
