A lot of them drive home -- why do you think DUIs are so common?
-People who drive to bars don't necessarily drink alcohol. NOT ADVISABLE TO DRINK AND DRIVE. or operate heavy machinery.
-Taxis or designated drivers.
-Those that do, jeopardize themselves as well as others. Advocate for safety. like I said for themselves and for others.
-BTW, I drink and I do it responsibly.How do ppl who drive to bars get home?
-Call a taxi and pick up their car the next day
- Bus, even though you'd look stupid, haha
- Call a friend to pick them up
- Walk (Not recommended)
- Bring along a friend who doesn't drink and get them to drive
- Drive (REALLY NOT RECOMMENDED)
There are really quite a few options :)
Some groups have a designated driver who stays sober. Some drunks take taxis or ride with someone else. And some people who are too drunk to drive home do it anyway. You can read about some of those the next day in the news.
