Where can I get one of those projectors that you see in sports bars?

What are those projectors that you see in sports bars? And can you use them at home? How much do they cost?Where can I get one of those projectors that you see in sports bars?
Yes you can use them for your home. The price range is from $500 to $10,000 plus, depending on your requirements. One thing about projectors, the bulbs on them only last 2,000 and cost of them range from $200 and up. You will also need a decent projector screen which range from $200 to $5,000 depending on size and requirements. Also you'll need a big room to place it in and also a surround sound system. By the time you figure the cost of this and compare it to a Plasma or LCD tv you are better off with a Plasma or LCD.Where can I get one of those projectors that you see in sports bars?
Those are called DLP projectors. They can project huge images and can be used with a standard cable box, xbox, etc...

I have one and I love it. You can get them for as little as $500.

Here's a good DLP store:

they'r projectors, not all are digital laser projetors (DLP), but still. they start at about $800, epson has one for that, and can go into the 1000's easily...

try tigerdirect.com, newegg.com, jr.com, buy.com...

search projectors.
What you probably saw is a digital projector. They are similar to business projectors, but they are optimized for light output, to overcome the ambient light in the bar. There are many manufacturers of home theatre projectors, which are optimized for recreating the movie experience at home.

Check out Amazon.com or Tigerdirect.com. There are a number of low budget models starting at around $500.00. Prices can go into the 10's of thousands.
