To make yahoo your home page from the browser click on tools, internet options, and under the general tab change and apply yahoo as the homepage. To get rid of the google toolbar, righ click on a blank area of your browser and remove the check from google. If you want to remove the google toolbar completely, click on start, control panel, add/remove programs, and find google toolbar in the list and click on remove. which version of internet explorer are you using?
IE7 gives a search bar which can be set to yahoo/google at the instalation time...

click on tools on your browser then access preferences and select home page by typing in the address. try uninstalling google from add remove in your control panel
At the end of the Google bar is 'Settings'. Click on it %26amp; you'll see a drop down menu. At the end of the menu you'll see 'Help' with an arrow. Place your mouse cursor on help %26amp; you'll see a few menus, one of them is 'Uninstall', click on it.
