Ways to relieve it?I fell off a home pull up bar and my back has been aching the past 3 days?
You have had to have put a few muscles into spasm. If you can't reach the area yourself have somebody help you. I'm taking this is in your rib area. Have them run a finger/thumb along between your ribs while you lay on your side until they find the troubled area. You should feel the pain and they should also feel the ribs pulled together at that spot. Then they have to push in on the area, if not right on top of it as close to the side of it as possible, where I do a push in and then a push towards the area that is spasmed. they apply a good amount of pressure while you relax by taking a deep breath and exhale and then don't tense up your body anywhere or this won't work. After about thirty seconds it should release. You rest for one minute afterward. Then have them double check the ribs above and below the one worked on to make sure that was all. It will be sore for a day or two but the pain itself should be gone.
