Hi BT, found these recipes for you, I have not made them myself though.

Green Energy Bars

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup cashews

1 cup medjool dates, pits removed (about eight)

2 tsp freeze-dried wheatgrass powder

1/4 cup hemp seeds

1/4 cup goji berries (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

Mix the cashews, dates and wheatgrass powder together in a food processor just until a rough dough has formed (allowing some cashews to remain coarsely chopped). Add the hemp seeds and pulse several times until combined.

Place a sheet of saran wrap on a cutting board and spill the dough out on top. Use your hands to press and form into a 1 inch thick rectangle, then cut into 8 pieces. Wrap and keep in the freezer for long term storage. Makes 8 bars (double or triple the recipe if desired).

Signy's Homemade Power Bars

1 cup (250 ml) finely chopped dried apricots or any dried fruit

2 Tbsp (30 ml) sesame seeds

4 Tbsp (60 ml) sunflower seeds

4 Tbsp (60 ml) pumpkin seeds

2 Tbsp (30 ml) almond slivers

2 Tbsp (30 ml) ground flax seeds

4 Tbsp (60 ml) coconut

1 tsp (5 ml) cinnamon

Wet ingredients:

1/2 cup (125 ml) organic butter, melted over low heat, or cold-pressed walnut oil (preferred)

3/4 cup (185 ml) maple syrup

3/4 tsp (3 ml) salt

1 tsp (5 ml) lemon zest

1 1/2 Tbsp (22 ml) organic molasses

2 tsp (10 ml) vanilla

Heat oven to 350 F (180 C). In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients and set aside.

In a large heavy saucepan, heat oil or butter and stir in wet ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and stir in dry ingredients, mixing well. Turn into 13- x 9-in (33- x 23-cm) baking pan and press mixture to form an even layer. Bake for 20 minutes. Cut into bars while still warm and allow to cool. Keep refrigerated. Serves 4.

Apple Cinnamon Energy Bar

This is a classic energy bar "flavor" so it tastes similar to the commercially bought variety--it's just a lot better for you. With hemp protein and the ancient "grain" quinoa, which is a source of complete protein (just like meat,), this homemade bar is well-qualified to match any store bought protein bar. Meanwhile, flaxseed is a fantastic source of omega-3s and cashews are rich in copper and magnesium.

鈥? small apple, cored

鈥? cup dried dates, soaked

鈥?/2 cup soaked quinoa

鈥?/4 cup cashews

鈥?/4 cup ground flaxseed

鈥?/4 cup hemp protein

鈥? tsp cinnamon

鈥?/2 teaspoon ginger

Step 1. Mix all the ingredients together in a food processor.

Step 2. Shape mixture into bar shapes or balls.

Step 3. Chill in the refrigerator until hardened.

Chocolate Macademia Energy Bars

Made with raw cacao and a bit of cayenne red pepper powder for warmth, this recipe is reminiscent of gourmet chocolate. But don't let that fool you: it's plenty healthy. Macademia nuts help restore lost electrolytes after a long, sweaty workout. Figs are a good source of fiber and minerals.

鈥? banana

鈥?/4 cup dried figs, soaked

鈥?/2 cup sunflower seeds

鈥?/4 cup cacao

鈥?/4 macademia nuts

鈥?/4 cup ground flaxseed

鈥? tsp hemp seeds

鈥? teaspoon cayenne red pepper

Step 1. Mix all ingredients (except for hemp seeds) together in a food processor.

Step 2. Dust the mixture with hemp seeds.

Step 3. Form into bar shapes or balls,

Step 4. Chill in the fridge until hardened.

Tropical Fruit Energy Bars

This is real all-natural energy food: high in electrolytes, protein and healthy fats. And its refreshing light flavor is perfect for when you need a boost on a hot summer day.

3/4 cup dried figs, soaked

1/2 cup chopped mango

1/4 cup shredded coconut

1/2 cup ground flaxseed

1/2 cup soaked quinoa

1/4 cup macademia nuts

1 tsp ginger

1 tsp orange zest

Step 1. Put all the ingredients except the coconut into a food processor and blend.

Step 2. Remove the mixture from the food processor and fold the coconut in by hand.

Step 3. Chill until hardened.

Chocolate Blueberry Energy Bars

Few fruits pack the same antioxidant punch as blueberries, so this bar can help fight off free radicals and improve cellular recovery in your body. Toss in some hemp protein to help refuel those muscles and you've got one good for you--and good tasting--chocolate energy bar.

1 cup dried dates, soaked

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

1/4 cup cacao

1/4 cup almonds

1/4 cup ground flaxseed

1/4 cup hemp protein

1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

Step 1. Set the blueberries aside and process the rest of the ingredients together in a food processor.

Step 2. Remove the mixture from the food processor and knead the blueberries in by hand.

Step 3. Shape into balls or bars and chill in the fridge until hardened.
