I do gymnastics (I don't compete yet but maybe someday ;)) and I rock at everything BUT bars. I want to get better, and I have been improving, but lets face it not ALL of us have bars in there back yard. So how do I get better at bars without bars, like at home?How do I get better at bars?
It take awhile to get used to bars. I really had a hard time in level 5 because i just didn't seem to have a lot of arm strength. Practice pushups, leglifts, and hollow rockers
You have to practice, practice, and practice!!! Nobody can help you but yourself. I mean sure, people can offer you advice, but you must practice. I know you can do it!How do I get better at bars?
i did gymnastics for a while. for me, my biggest challenge with parallel bars and high bar was fear. i got sortof bad injuries on both of them. so my advice to you is to go for it and don't be nervous. and don't expect yourself to do poorly. just go on them some day and say that you are going to do very well. then you will do well.
Strengthen you shoulder.... i will do a whole lot of good to all bar related exercises.... try some floor exercises..How do I get better at bars?
Hate to break it to you, but you gotta get to a gym to get better. Try open gym. If you insist, you can try to mimic the drills that girls do at the gym with materials you have at home.
