Must have at home bar staples?

I just turned 21, and now that I can actually walk into a liquor store I'd like to know what are must haves when you have a bar at home. I guess for someone like me and my friends we like "girly" drinks and being so new to the alcohol world, what are the main staples I should have?

Things I already own:

You need a bottle of vodka, a bottle of decent whisky, gin, dark rum, light rum and tequila. Those are the main mixing bases for drinks. You'll want tonic and fruit juices and simple syrup and sodas and probably a few liqueurs to mix with. Then it's herbals and accents like olives, cocktail onions, bitters, vermouth and maybe port and a few wines.

See how expensive and complicated this is getting? You're not running Cheers, you're having drinks with friends, don't worry about it. In other words, if it's you and your friends and all you drink is the stuff on your list, then a bottle of scotch or brandy isn't going to mean much and you've wasted cash. It'll look nice, I guess, but at 21 you've no idea what you want to drink and what your friends might like and it's crazy expensive to stock all that stuff.

So drink your "girly drinks" and whatever makes you happy. If you discover later that you like Gin %26amp; Tonics, then buy Gin and Tonic and Limes and stock those in your home bar (or whatever you store your liquor in).Must have at home bar staples?
There is no beer in your list. Shame on you.
