Why do female alcoholics like to drink and hang out in bars and night clubs, instead of just drinking at home?

Probably because there are men in bars, and most women feel sexier after they've had a few.Why do female alcoholics like to drink and hang out in bars and night clubs, instead of just drinking at home?
You really should stereotype *all* female alcoholics into one category...I'm sure a good number of them do their drinking in private.

The young ones might but in my town the grown ones stay at home.
bit of a generalisation dont you think? Why do female alcoholics like to drink and hang out in bars and night clubs, instead of just drinking at home?
Attention.

Most people drunk for fun or cause of something that went wrong. With the attention of others they feel better about themselves.

Just my opinion.
i actually think that they feel if they sorround themselves other drinkers then they don't have to face their own problem.if everyones doing it then there's no problem right?just my opinion!
some do, some don't. used to know a lot of them professionally. some go to the next town and hang out in the bars there. some only drink wine, because they think that if they just have a glass of wine they are not really alcoholics. based on the ones i knew and the ones i had to interview, i would say that a larger percentage of females stay home, but not necessarily alone. they may be drinking with a spouse or a best friend or a neighbor
For your information alcoholism is a disease. For your information people who drink are generally trying to drink away a deep sadness. People who drink alot, hang out where booze is, and where people are so they won't feel lonely.
just stay home a drink there still bums
John, what's with all these questions about female alcoholics and and female alcoholics who have been sober for 73 years? Something is seriously wrong here.
