Alcohol staples for a home bar?

I'm moving into my first apartment and I'm looking to start my own mini bar. I am looking for advice on good brands of whiskey, rum, vodka, scotch, and tequila that are not extremely expensive but good tasting and classy. I also am looking for some idea for two red and two white wines to have in the house that can go with a variety of meals. I love cooking fish and pasta especially. Any advice is appreciated - thanks in advance!Alcohol staples for a home bar?

I work in a concierge lounge and our bar consists of Maker's mark, kahlua, bailey's, kettle one, bacardi, J%26amp;B, and some others I'm forgetting. Not too sure about the wine.
