Essential items for a home bar?

I'm just moved and would like to create a classy home bar. What basic items/tools are essential? What liquors, additives (for mixed drinks) are necessary for entertaining guests?Essential items for a home bar?
i have a bar it has whiskey, bacardi, brandy and vodka, i keep champagne for special occasions and i always have a bottle of white, red and rose wine! I also always keep beer and alcopops and i keep them in a mini fridge! another essential is an ice bucketEssential items for a home bar?
shot glasses, drink glasses, beer mugs, wine glasses

drink stirrrers, straws, etc

garnishes (lemon, cherries, olives, etc.)

favorite alcohols (rums, vodkas, gin, tequila, whiskeys, beers, wines, champagne, etc.)

sour mix, lemon juice, lime juice, grenadine syrup, margarita salt, etc.

drink shakers, blender, large stirrer

basics i would recommend:

basic liquors:

vodka, brandy/cognac, whiskey/bourbon, tequila, rum

mixers:

sour mix, simple syrup, tonic water, club soda

garnishes:

olives, mint, lemon/limes, sugar, salt

ice of course

any liqueurs you like but really should have:

triple-sec %26amp; some berry based liqueur.



others:

bottle opener

cocktail shaker

ice bucket would be nice

cocktail glasses

highball, lowball, old fasioned glases

shot glasses for shots and mixing

toothpicks
