I am not looking to stock and keep a home bar, but I am hosting a party for about 10 to 15 guys. All a little more than just beer drinkers. Some are fruity so the drinks can be too LOL. Any advice on basic necessities and quantities? I've never hosted previously and would like to not overshoot and have too much left over. BTW alcohol will be playing into games as well. Realizing that admittedly everyone has different taste, what are some "no-fail" choices? How much booze for a home party of 10 to 15?
have a bring your own party.. cant go wrong then..How much booze for a home party of 10 to 15?
I would premix shots and shake them to chill as ordered. Nothing worse than mixing them everytime at a party you want to enjoy too. This saves time and money as well... So pick 3 shots that all have a unique taste. One that has southern comfort, one with vodka, and one with rum it. Set those aside after making 2 gallons each. Then beer, yes. Then, your basic mixed drinks. Rum and coke, vodka and orange juice, jack and coke, and 3 gallons of punch... DONE!
1 bottle southern comfort
2 bottles vodka
3 bottles rum
1 bottle jack daniels
your punch ingredients (add those ingredients to list)
*lots of fruit to dress up drinks
4 oranges
4 limes
4 lemons
1 pineapple
and finally beer...
You may have enough left for a second party, depending on the amount they drink...
And be safe...
buy shot containers so the shots are not over done... and they last...
ICE
Cups
Napkins
5 2 liters coke
2 sprite
3 orange juice
If this is too much-then cut it in half...How much booze for a home party of 10 to 15?
A handle of vodka, a handle of rum, a bottle of tequila and a bottle of Jaeger
Orange juice, Tonic water, Coke, red-bulls
Limes
figure two drinks an hour per person on average. the drunks that have more can make a beer run.
