Wanting to add a bar downstairs, already got a pool table. Just wondering if i bought the plans how much would the cost of material be?How much to build a home bar?
Here's a suggestion: find an old barn or farmhouse or other unused, dilapidated building and ask the owners if you can salvage some wood. Maybe they ask you for $50, maybe you just roll in real friendly and they give it to you free, who knows? Either way you cut your cost way down (could do the whole thing really nice for $100, I'm sure), your bar has a better story behind it and you can brag to your friends about your environmentally conscious decision to recycle building materials (looks better than building the whole thing out of water bottles or soda cans). Salvaged wood is all the rage right now, just keep an eye out for dry rot, mold and termites.
