Im a control freak, how do I stop. I can't stand for my wife to go to bars and come home late. What can I do.

We seperated not to long ago and ever since then I hate it when she goes to bars and comes home late. I do not care if she goes, but just come home at a certain time. Am I wrong for this?Im a control freak, how do I stop. I can't stand for my wife to go to bars and come home late. What can I do.
Well if you are seperated then u dont really have any right......chances are theres a reason for the seperation
Control freaks are people who are insecure. They keep a close hand on the things they don't want to lose. Telling her to come home at certain time is acting like your her father. Go out with her and her friends , see for your self how she behaves, you don't trust her for some reason

If she's happy with you she'll come home to you, you can't put a time limit on fun! Maybe you can change that to a phone call so you know she's still alive, you know as in I get scared when you stay out late
no, my only question is why does she need to go? most people go to bars to hook up i think you have a right to be suspicious. see could be having an affair for all you know. talk to her but watch your temper. she is a little squeamish these days.Im a control freak, how do I stop. Yeah. I think that since you're separated, it's not really your business unless you have kids. If she is trying to make it work, you guys need to figure out what will work for you both. I like to go out on rare occasions, but the last thing I want is to be married and have it be something where I'm still acting single. It's cool to go out with the girls maybe once every couple of months, but if she's not ready to stop doing single stuff, then she's not ready to be married. (or at least not to you, maybe she needs an alchy husband.)
