What alcohol does my at home bar need?

I have a bartender and many big parties what are good drinks and mixes and alcohol i should have to please my friends at my partiesWhat alcohol does my at home bar need?
Start with the basics: Vodka, Tequila, Rum, and Gin will get you pretty far if you also have a variety of juices on hand for mixers. If you have these, you can start to add others like Amaretto, Triple Sec, Vermouth and Irish Cream. Then start to add other flavored liqueurs - creme de cacao for chocolate flavored drinks, peppermint schnapps, creme de menthe, etc.

If you're having parties often, try a new drink at each one and slowly expand you collection. Enjoy!

I would say vodka, rum, cognac, wine and beer.
This question is right up my alley......I am a certified bartender, i've been bartending for 10 years and I have a full bar in my basement. To stock successfully and inexpensively you will need all bottom shelf (low priced) vodka, gin, rum, tequila, triple sec, sour mix and cola. That way you can make long island iced teas (very popular) and the basics you will also need pineapple juice, cranberry and orange juice. Then you pick your favorites such as southern comfort, or a whiskey a cognac ect. but those are the basics which will run you about $60.What alcohol does my at home bar need?
Home bar should have rye, vodka, gin, rum and perhaps scotch (depending on your friends) beer and red %26amp; white wines (decent ones)

Those are the basics.

Then tequila is very popular, dark rum, liquers - depending on your friends taste again.
