A good friend of mine drinks and drives all the time. I am afraid for his safety and the safety of others. Right now he has been at a bar for over 5 hours getting completely wasted and i know he will eventually drive home. If I call the police and report him what should I say? Because he is still at the bar and I do not know when he is going to leave? I believe this is the right thing to do...I am just looking for some advice.

Take away his keys. By force if necessary.
Call the cops and tell them where his car is. Have him walk to his car while the cops (in open view) watch him. He'll think twice and hopefully learn his lesson. You have a chance to save lives. Take his keys, and call a cab. If he gets in the car and kills someone, or himself, and you did nothing, you're not going to ever get over it.
Take his keys, yank the distributor cap, call the cops, keep him at the bar until he passes out....whatever it takes to keep him from getting behind the wheel.
