Why my google search bar in home page gets smaller and tiny in Internet explorer?

when i open it in Firefox, it is fine. and when i remove the desktop themes of alienguise, it's fine in IE also.Why my google search bar in home page gets smaller and tiny in Internet explorer?
go to tools %26gt; text size %26gt; medium



and it should be the usual size :)

heres exactly what you do (i had the same prob), go to tools, internet options, advanced, and uncheck the enable website styles for buttons and searchbars
